Dear Friends

After installation of 828d Toolbox SW4.8 SP5 HF3  in my laptop windows 10 Pro 64-bit and when i click on ( communication )  button the screen shows only the PLC802(PPI) interface / RS232 Although i select the PLC Type ( 828D Step 2 07.02 ) and I also select TCP/IP Intel(R) Ethernet Connection type of my laptop interface in the ( PG-PC Setting )  and plug the Ethernet cable into port X127 , Also i tried to install the 828D Toolbox to another laptop but the same thing appears in the communication button , I read in the Programing Tool PDF that in the last step of installation we can select and setup communication but this didn't happened . Please advice me .

I attached a screen shot for your request but i think the problem is in the setting of Toolbox itself

 Can you post screenshot for the step you set up Ethernet, something like: 192.168.10.20

and I suggest to change your tittle to " 828D PLC Programming Toll communication Issue" 

PS: I never worked on 828D, but after i answer you, I Google find picture attached to see it helps

According to your screen shot you have not chosen any card?

You should chose the one you have marked with TCPIP and then press the "OK" button and the IP setting should appear?

I read many pdf manuals , my problem in the PG/PC setting , as you can see from the screen shot there is no '' Programming Tool " selection in the '' Access point '' field in PG/PC setting '' that's why when i click on communication button the ' PLC802/PPI , interface appears .

 You want to use Ethernet cable, buy your setting is for PPI. you need read manual to understand

It's been a long time, but I wanted to clarify the question that has already been answered as far as I understand from the screenshots.

Our friend who is experiencing this problem is experiencing this problem because he uses the set pg/pc interface in the control panel. Should use PLC Programming Tool's own set pg/pc interface
