Hello All,

I need help with CSM 1277 for S7 1200. In cataloge I can't find GSD file for this hardware module. Is there some way to update cataloge? My CPU is S7 1200   1214C DC/DC/DC.

Split from Create GSD file for TIA Portal.

As sais above, depending on hardware, you get the possibility to add unmanaged switchs like CSM1277.

If your CPu support this part, you will find it on TOPOLOGY VIEW.

Go as belove descripted;

1. Select no hardware on NETWORK VIEW,

2. Change to TOPOLOGY VIEW,

3. Go on HARDWARE CATALOG,

4. Give to SEARCH FIELD "CSM1277" and you will find it.

OR make further with following steps;

5, Click on NETWORK COMPONENTS

6. Click on IE SWITCHES

7. Click on COMPACT SWITCH MODULE

8. Click on CSM 1277.
