You can _try_ updating the firmware.

Regardless, you need to use TIA Portal V13 if your s7-1500 was loaded with V13 (like the original topic title you replied to stated).

In fact, updating the firmware is what I would try first.  If you can update it beyond 1.8, I would try 2.0.5 and if that works, try 2.1.0.

If that works, try 2.9.7

If that works, try 3.0.3, then 3.1.0 (latest as of 11/27/2023)
