I would like to carry out a simulation via TIA Portal of a system with an S7-1217. So, I created my project and when I launch my simulation, a new workspace opens on S7-PLCSIM, however, at the end of the compilation I have an error about an IP address.

Indeed, the IP of the instance in PLCSIM is not the same as the S7 in my project, so I assume that the error comes from there. Is it possible to manually change this IP address?

Actually I'm using the last version of PLCSIM but when I load, it's always the same IP which doesn't match with my IP's project.

That's why I don't understand why I can't connect and start a simulation with PLCSIM.

I just checked this in my ES.

• Created a new project with s7-1217 (ip-address in project 192.168.240.1)
• started simulation, new workspace with s7-1200 (standard ip-adress 19.168.0.1)
• no error at first download, after download plcsim instance took over the ip-address from project

Are you using the PLCSIM softbus, or the TCP/IP-Single-Adapter Mode?
Which Interface ist configured in TIA for the download?
Can you please post a Screenshot of the error message with the settings of download window + plcsim intance in the background?
