Hi everyone, I have a problem with a redundand-server pcs7 project: The *.ldf is around 40 GB big and I already shrunk the database some time ago with the description in the FAQ: "How can you reduce the size of the transaction file (*.LDF) of the database of a WinCC project?" and it tells me to "Use the database without R at the end" but the log-data with the R at the end is the one that is huge (36 GB). What is the role of this database and is it OK to do the same procedure for it? Thank you. |

Hi, The database with the _R means it is the database of the redundant server. I think this will be automatically cleaned up once you executed the procedure. |
