How to Know Operating Mode Run or Stop

If you have a HMI you can check PLC Status or check this: Monitoring the connection between a panel and the control Regards, Towome

From TIA Portal, you go online with the PLC and the right pane shows the status. If you are standing in front of the PLC and can see the front-panel display, you can view the status in there. If you want to know from within the PLC project's code, you can tell it is running because it is executing the logic in the PLC. Otherwise, the PLC code is not executing, and so it is not able to see it is in stop. If you have a spare local transistor digital output, you can toggle it about 2-5 times / second and see the LED flashing on that Digital Output - similar to what was already posted. tmunoz.tomec Hello everyone, i am using a CPU 1517T withTIA Portal V17 and i would like to know if the CPU is on Run or Stop. is there any function for that?
