Hi, do you look for something like this: Downloading blocks in the "RUN" operating state to the device Here you will find a table that shows you at which process the CPU goes into Stop or remains in Run or this: Which organization blocks can you use in STEP 7 (TIA Portal)? Regards, Towome |

Hi, For the S7-1200, information about the error OBs and how the CPU behaves if they are configured or not can be found in this manual link: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/us/en/view/109814829/159659816075 the behavior is indicated for each type of OB. For the S7-1500 it is summarized in this table: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/us/en/view/59191792/154404616971 Have a nice day. |

Hi. Thanks for the reply. No, it wasn't any of those links. I found them whilst looking for the doc I was originally looking for. I don't think I dreamt that I saw such a document Why doesn't the CPU stop anymore like it did with the 300 - with such conditions are a PN or DP device/node dropping off the network. I'm sure the doc detailed this kind of information! Argh, hahaha!

If you *want* that behavior, ENABLE it by checking the boxes of the Profinet hardware configuration to check the PN connections. The default setting is not checked.
