I have a problem when I close the ring physically, I stop seeing all the cards and switches. I have found that there is nothing configured in the topology view.

The control architecture is as follows as shown by Siemens in their manual.

By the fact of not having this configuration, it should not stop seeing anything and give error, it should only give the failure of ring not closed ?

When I open the ring, I am able to read all the peripheral devices.

Physically creating a Ring without configuring MRP will indeed cause this problem.

Solution is to simply follow the example as available HERE.

Everything works correctly, when I connect the ring I stop seeing all the cards, do you mean that?
