Does anyone know how it is possible to read the currently
specified value for a variable of a parameter set?
As an explanation: I work with the parameterset control.
There are several variables, e.g. Valve 1. If someone has
now selected the field for Valve 1, I would like to show in
a graphic next to it which valve is currently selected.
Is there a way to do this?

And is it possible to read out the current number
of parameter sets of a parameter set type?
(Background: When a parameter set type is started, a bar
should show the number of steps and how many of them have
already expired).

I do not know any possibility to geht this information (selected cell) out of the PaControl. for this I would say you have to use not the table in the control, you have to use a recipe screen with IO Fields.

The number of Parametersets I would do an export to tsv and use a javascript to count the parametersets in the exportfile. (its not that smart but I have no other idea at the moment)

project for it for V17. But with V18 there are many new system

functions that can be used - is there an example project as well?

I just want to avoid creating a lot of variables.
