patryk.m Advanced Member Joined: 10/22/2015 Last visit: 9/12/2025 Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Hi, Every 1h (1h and aprox 11 seconds) I have in diagnostic buffer in PLC 1511-1 PN (firmw. 2.9.2) an event: Description: Security information: System initiated session termination SessionID 0-36924 Client IPAddr: 192.168.100.200 Help on event: A previously established system session was terminated due to CPU operating system security efforts. Connection that is terminating is made by HMI (Weintek cMT-FHDX-820, IP: 192.168.100.200) using: selected in the EBpro project: device type: Siemens S7-1200/S7-1500 (S7CommPlus, Symbolic Addressing) (Ethernet) connection to read and write tags on the PLC. In TIA Portal I can see online connection made by HMI: Connection name: HMI connection_192.168.100.200 Local ID (hex): EMPTY - nothin is here Connection type: Connection from HMI client Online status: Connected Details: Established: Connection exists only online. Connection is established. Connection Address details: LOCAL: End point: project_name LOCAL: Interface: project_name(Slot1)/PROFINET interface_1 LOCAL: Subnet: BCB9 - 0000 - 0001 LOCAL: Address: 192.168.100.1 LOCAL: TSAP (hex): 53.49.4D.41.54.49.43.2D.52.4F.4F.54.2D.48.4D.49 PARTNER: End point: HMI Client PARTNER: Address: 192.168.100.200 TSAP (hex): 00.00 When I have information in diagnostic buffer, for several seconds I don't have this connection in "Connection" in TIA Portal. Towome Hi, you use a third party hmi device - so if you would use a Simatic Panel I would disable the function "Only allow secure PG/PC and HMI communication" in PLC settings. Please check this: Why is it not possible to establish a connection to a CPU with firmware version 2.9/4.5 from an HMI panel (Basic, Comfort or Unified) or WinCC Runtime Advanced V17 or lower? After Christmas I will open this project in V17 and also upgrade PLC firmware from 2.9.2 to 2.9.7 Thanks for helping me. Merry Christmas :)

After Christmas I will open this project in V17 and also upgrade PLC firmware from 2.9.2 to 2.9.7 Thanks for helping me. Merry Christmas :) Unfortunately, nothing changed. I also received the answer from Weintek, that this is a known issue for them, and they are actively working on it. Happy New Year!

Mr.V Silver Member Joined: 6/19/2019 Last visit: 1/16/2026 Posts: 744 Rating: (79)	Have yuo put on PLC properties Protection and Security tab >> Permit access with PUT/GET communication from remote partner? and if this not helps maybe there are another field with summarize security events in case of high message volume maybe try uncheck it or try increase time
