furthermore it would be helpful to know which error you got..

1. Hover the mouse over the red symbol and check if there is a pop up with a specific error text.
If yes, which one?

2. Open the device diagnostics of the module and check if there is a diagnostics message.
If yes, which one?

3. Open the CPU diagnostics buffer and check if there are entries with relation to the device.
If yes, which one?
