News about Faceplates as from TIA V18

Hi,

As from TIA V18 it is possible to add  trends and alarm view in the faceplate.

TIPs:

Real time tags trends:

• It is configured as usual, however instead of linking to a “real” tag, the trend is connected to a “interface tag”.
• Also as usual, in the faceplate call the “real” tag is connect the tag interface in the faceplate properties (Miscellaneous, interface)

Historical values trends:

• In this case, the trends are linked to the property interface, but not directly, instead of that, it is linked by script (e.g. in the load event of the faceplate).
• An script example from the simple sample project:

Faceplate.Items("Trend control_2").TrendAreas.Item(0).Trends(0).DataSourceY.Source = Faceplate.Properties.Interface_Property_1;

 where

"Trend control_2" is the object name

0 in TrendAreas.Item(0) is the number of the used trend area (always starts with 0)

0 in Trends(0) is the number of the trend (always starts with 0)

Interface_Property_1 is the related faceplate property interface name

• In the faceplate call, the data log tag is given as a property (Miscellaneous, interface).
• An parameter example from the simple sample project:

HMI_Tag_1:LoggingTag_1

 

where

HMI_Tag_1 is the “real tag name”

Data log_1 is the data log name where HMI_Tag_1 is stored (is not used as parameter ! )

LoggingTag_1 is the name of the HMI_Tag_1 as logging tag of Data log_1

note: do not use “ or ‘

Alarm

• Configured as usual
• Filter could be passed as a Property interface.

I am working with Wincc Unified v18 Upd3.

Regarding alarm filter in a faceplate.

I set the filter as a property interface (WString) inside the faceplate. However, when I used this faceplate the filter does not work.

Do you have some example of how to pass alarm filter using property interface?

Hi,

I am making some tests, and it is a little tricky.

When I use the filter State = 'Incoming', it shows nothing in the faceplate. 

In the other hand, when I used State = 1, it works well.

The following are the values that should be configured as State.

Normal: State = 0

Incoming: State = 1

Incoming/Outgoing: State = 2

Incoming/Acknowledged: State = 5

Incoming/Acknowledged/Outgoing: State = 6

Incoming/Outgoing/Acknowledged: State = 7

Removed: State = 128
