Hi All

We have already installed system with R-J3 controller and Fanuc AIF01A  module and Mitsubishi PLC installed. Can anybody Please tell me how this whole system works? Can we not connect Siemens Plc directly to Robot to control it? what is purpose of Fanuc AIF01A module? what sort of communication channel will be used  PN/PB or Ethernet?

As far as I understand, there are their own libraries to communicate with these devices. I'm not sure if they are downloadable, but perhaps technical support can help you explore this field.

                      What is purpose of using Fanuc AIF01A interface module? Can we not control robot by directly connecting PLC  with R-J3 Controller?
