Hello,

it is possible to use your own Global module functions for screen objects with import instructions in Global Definition area:

import * as myGMs from 'MyGlobalModules';

But it does not work for Faceplates. It gives error

Global definition area event: ReferenceError: cannot instantiate module 'MyGlobalModules'

Is there a way to use your own module functions in faceplate scripts?

Ok, I have found the way to do so.

Example

module: GlobalModule1

file: Global definition area

content:

export function Foo() { }

file: FunctionBoo

content:

exporty function Boo() { }

module: GlobalModule2

file: Global definition area

content: 

import * as GlobalModule1 from "GlobalModule1"; // import all inside GlobalModule1

import { Foo, Boo } from "GlobalModule1"; // import just selected functions from GlobalModule1

file: FunctionNeededGM1

content:

// You can use imported GlobalModule1

GlobalModule1.Foo();

GlobalModule1.Boo();

// or you can use just iported selected functions

Foo();

Boo();

You can choos which you prefere. You don't need to import both ways at once.
