The specifications "Dual/Quattro channel mode" are for a parallel connection of the channels. A parallel connection leads to an increase in current in the event of a fault and thus to lower permissible capacitances / inductances.

It does not matter whether it is a DI Namur or a DQ module. The IO module is the supply device, regardless of whether it is input or output signals.

This means that if each channel is used "normally" as a single channel without parallel connection, the values of the "Single channel mode" operation apply.
