Trends stop working - Ideal configuration of trendings?

Each trend log is a segmented circular log: 10 logs of 250000 values in rdb format = 269MB => total maximum size = 4 * 269MB= 1076 MB I've a CF card of 2 GB, so the size is not a problem I think. For each trend log I' ve configured a trending with a maximum of eight values. Seven of them comes from the corresponding trend log and the last value is a "trigger" value which is configured as realtime cyclic. So the trending refreshes itself and looks for the values in the trend log. This works fine for along time, but after a while the trends do not show values anymore, after rebooting everything works again. Can this be prevented? Is there perhaps an ideal workableconfigurationsfor trendings? by example: 50 logs of 50000 values in stead of 10 logs of 250000 values Attachment prtscrn.gif (164 Downloads)

After a while ( a day?) the trendings don't update their values anymore (you don't see the clock anymore when calling up a trending, but the strange thing is that the logging keeps going on (so that's OK). Restarting the project, everything works fine again for a while.

Maene3 Experienced Member Joined: 5/27/2008 Last visit: 1/5/2026 Posts: 29 Rating: (0)	(Just for info, it's a MP277 10" ) If I look at the Siemens Mall I only find the following: MMC CARD 128 MB FOR OP77B, OP/TP 177B, OP/TP277, C7-635, MP277, MP377, MOBILE PANEL 177/277 6AV6671-1CB00-0AX2 Much lower storage capacity, price ten times bigger... Isn't there any larger available?

I think that is the problem.There are a lot differences between the MMC cards. Maybe the shrink of the MMC cardis different which could cause this problem. Alternative you can use a USB Stick. So the hardware used can't be the problem anymore...
