Hello!

I am trying to change the color of a polygon in a faceplate.

I can read my tag, an get different values in return value, but the color does not change when testing in runtime. I have checked in debug and the code seems to do what it is supposed to do.

Have I done something wrong here?

I have V19.

I have tested both with RGB, and HEX-values.

If the polygon has another color in the beginning it turns whis as it should, but I am not able to get it to turn in to the other color.

First you forget the ; after value = 0xFF00e100;

But that is not the problem, you have placed the return value before } that is why it only show white.

Rookie mistake! I did not see this myself and had given up.... Thank you for the help!

I testet it in TIA V19 and the change the color of the Polygon works if your script uses correct syntax.

If you are unsure if your Scrip does what it should and if it runs into the correct if parts, you can also check with Script debugger:

I am aware of the script debugger, but I was not able to tell why it did not work, but as Ricor 5 pointed out my return value was at the wrong place.
