By a Master/Slave connection is one LOGO! the master, the other LOGO! is the slave. This LOGO! must to in slave mode. Tools > Transfer > Configure Master/Slave mode The slave LOGO! is then "dumb", has no program. It provides the master LOGO! with its hardware. From master then you can switch e.g. Q1 via NQ.

Either you do the master/slave procedure, then the master controls the outputs of the slave LOGO! and reads the inputs of the slave LOGO!. In this case the slave LOGO is "dumb" and has no program. Or you do the master/master procedure, then one LOGO! is the client and the other LOGO! is the server. Both LOGO!s then have a program.
