Hello Saffdar; Why would you expect Siemens to provide a solution to this problem? The Rockwell E300 relays connect over DeviceNet or Ethernet/IP, which are proprietary (through OVDA) Rockwell communication networks. The S7-1200 has no module that can convert its communications to Ethernet/IP. See the attachment below, taken from this Rockwell page: If you want to interface the relays to a S7-1200, you will need to implement a 3rd-party gateway between the Profinet port of your S7-1200 and the Ethernet/IP interface of the E300. Here is a Google page showing various manufacturers: Gateways Profinet to Ethernet/IP Since you are not using Rockwell software or controllers, I suggest you look for the "optional expansion operator diagnostic station" needed to configure the relays without software. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Hi, please check the following FAQ - pherhaps you can use one of these connectiony types / protocols: With which devices can the S7-1200 communicate via the integrated PROFINET interface and which protocols does the S7-1200 support?Regards, Towome |

Hi Is it possible to integrate an e300 in s7-1500 PLC? I found the following library, but somebody has tried this before? Thanks in advance. Connecting third party I/O’s using EtherNet/IP |
