I'm writing a VB script using TIA Portal V18, and the inputs to my function consist of two integers passed ByVal, and five strings passed ByRef. However, whenever I set this script as a function for a screen object, the input fields default to passing in Integers. This means I have to change the type of the input to String before I can enter the text. I want to avoid having to changing the input data type manually each time I use this script.

Is there a method to change the default type of the inputs to a script to reduce steps when programming?
