Hi all,

I am having some issues with a Profibus network (you can check the Post) and I would like to know your recommendations about network earthing. Actually ,as you can see on the attachment, network is a PLC and an OLM connected by a Profibus cable of 1.5 m aprox. Both PLC and OLM Profibus connection have internal connection to ground. Do you thing would be needed a cable earthing approx. in the middle point? Could be this the origin of the intermittent disconnections?

Thanks you for your answer. Yes we checked all connectors termination resistors and they are OK.
