I have automatic read/ subscription to the tags from the list so far. Next step - to control motors, pneumatic valves in real time according logic ( scenario ) including readings of boolean signals from sensors and barcode data. It will not replace the area control logic, it is for pre-commissioning only. -The system is PLC 1500 series, field interface PN, about 100 photo eyes, about 50 barcode scanners, No fast processes. No analog data, no servo. For the purpose I split the system into smaller parts. Real-time monitor of 20 boolean inputs/ outputs is enough. What is working and tested already - I monitor / set boolean bits one-by one, which is also a solution ( poor ). I read ( one shot, no monitoring ) bar code scanner output also.
