Hello everyone.
I know there are quite few posts about it but I still couldn't find the solution.

Basically, I'm trying to make a project for Factory IO via PLCSIM Adv 5.0, but I'm unable to connect even with TIA v16. (factoryIO too, but that's problem for later).

-I have Win10 Pro (21H2), TIA V16 Upd. 6, PLCSIM Advanced Upd. 1.
-In the project I check both "Support simulation during block compilation" & "Permit access with PUT/GET communication for remote partner". Adress 192.168.0.50 / 255.255.255.0. It's 1511-1 PN in case it makes a difference.
-I have set adress 192.168.0.100 / 255.255.255.0 for PLCSIM Virtual Ethernet Adapter (s7-PLCSIM Advanced Virtual Switch is checked)
-IN PLCSIM Advanced i created an instance for TCP/IP (communication with <local>)
192.168.0.50 / 255.255.255.0 and it's of course powered.
-Antivirus/Firewall/VPN are off.
-PG/PC interface set for Siemens PLCSIM Virtual Ethernet Adapter.TCPIP.1

I'm unable to connect with it or ping the instance.

UPDATE:
I have 2nd laptop with PLCSIM Advanced 3.0 Upd. 2.
I set exactly same configuration as the 2nd laptop have, but it's still not working so I believe it's not the config. I removed V5.0 and installed V3.0, but it's same situation.
arp -a does not show the instance, like 2nd laptop does

can you do a ping to the PLC Sim Network adapter from outside on the same Subnet?

Hello guys.
I wanted to make an update about the PLCSIM ADV.
After half of a year I wanted to use it again, but it is not working anymore.

In meantime I have installed TIA V17, some no siemens related applications and windows updates.
The problem is that PLCSIM is not creating an instance in the network.

I tried to remove adapter, reinstall plcsim advanced, install newer and older version (4.0, 5.0 Upd 1 & 2, 6,0). Made all the updates etc etc. Nothing except format works. I tested exactly same configuration in other laptop, so it is not the parameter problem.

I really like application, but I cannot format my laptop each development I'm doing... 
Feel free to leave a feedback if anyone have same experience with this app.

I think I found the main source of my problem.
So, from the PLCSIM point of view everything was ok:


But in CMD I couldn't see or ping my isntance and I couldn't connect to it via TIA Portal.
The problem was adapter configuration:

VPN drivers were making a mess :)
