Hi everyone

In projects which we used SICAM PAS V.6, when we import or update devices which have IEC61850 protocol, some of them in period of 1 minute are disconnected and connected again.

Sometimes in automation systems which have 2 servers, this problem only happens for one of them. I mean in one of 2 servers with same software, one or several relays get connected and disconnected periodically. I saw this problem even for none SIEMENS relays like REG-D.

When this problem happens for SIEMENS relays we reinitialize the relay and somehow solve the problem, but I don’t know how I can solve the problem for REG-D relay.

I would appreciate if you give some advice to solve the problem.

I think you should contact Energy support for this matter: support.enery@siemens.com
The problem could be Siprotec, Networkor PAS.

Inform the versions you are using: Sicam PAS, Service packs or hotfixes. From the Siprotec inform also the Firmware Version from the EN100 modules (ethernet modules).
Switch firmware version (if RuggedCom, you should use version 3.4.8) and the log files from them.

Take a "photograph" of your network using Netview and send the HTMLs http://siemens.siprotec.de/download_neu/software/Netview/NetviewSetup.exe

Send also a topology to show how your devices are connected (star, ring).

We are also facing similar problem in our project regarding the relay bouncing / disconnection (Siemens / Non-Siemens) with SICAM PAS

I'm currently have this issue on 1 of my devices and trying to figure out the cause.
