Dear all,

Sql server 2017 std fails during installation of PCS7 V9.1. 

I have done followings tasks: 

1- my windows is 10 enterprise LTSC version 1809 os build 17763.5576 as was prerequisite of PCS7 V9.1.

2- enabled windows features IIS service and MSMQ. 

3- Installed office 2019 .

4- updated my windows till windows is up to date is shown on status of windows.

5- read all issued regarding this in Siemens forum but nothing was left out. 

To me everything is based on document pc configuration but i do not know what else I missed that this error appears. Appreciate of any helpful comment . Thanks

Hello Saba,

In this path :

SQL2017std\setup\x64

Name of dll file "microsoft.sqlserver.configuration.extensibility_configextens.dll" should change to "microsoft.sqlserver.configuration.extensibility_configextension.dll" then you can install pcs7 again.

Give a try and notify us here :)

Name of dll file in above directory is ok already. The name is microsoft.sqlserver.configuration.extensibility_configextension.dll

I checked it and it was ok . So the problem might be something else. Please help me .
