thoft Posts: 15 Rating: (1)	I have been running simulations i TIA 18 / Runtime Manager without any problems, but all the suddenly I get the "An incorrect runtime version is installed. The installed runtime cannot process the project. Install the runtime manually on the target device." error message when trying to start my simulation: There have been no changes whatsoever to the project in between working/not working, and it seems like any other project will run without having any issues. When looking in the SIMATIC Runtime Manager, the project is recognised, the "Runtime ID" is not only fill in the ID column, but also in the "Project" column - in where all other projects is normally listed with the project name. Also, no "Device name" is filled in like you normally would see with other projects. This for some reason also applies to new projects. Is there anyone who have an idea how the remedy this?

Delete all projects from the SIMATIC Runtime Manager and then try to start the simulation. If this does not help, please provide more information: What is your engineering version? Which version of WinCC Unified PC Runtime are you using? Which device version is configured in the project? What does the SIMATIC Runtime Manager show? Kind regards Stefan
