Does someone know how to update V3.1.4 to V4.0 or V4.1 of Scalance X204IRT (6GK5204-0BA00-2BA3)?

Shinchan Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Currently iwork with Scalance X204IRT (6GK5204-0BA00-2BA3) switch with Firmware 3.1.4 but this firmware does not support IRT "high flexibility"so i want to update it with V4.0 or V4.1. But when i tried to update the firmware via step 7, the option for "Update Firmware" is not activated asthe figure in the attachment file. So I tried toload it from Webmanagementbut, even i logged in as administrator, still the option are not activated and error messageappears asin the attachment file. Does someone know how to updateV3.1.4 to V4.0 or V4.1of this switch? Attachment Firmware.zip (198 Downloads)

The Step 7 software is not the correct software to update the firmware and this should be done via the web based maanger. But if a device is configured as a PN IO Device and PN IO Device is running you are not able to update the firmware because it's not allowed. A solution could be disconnecing the PN IO Controller. Then you will be able to update the firmware. Best way to go is to update to firmware v4.0 and please use the latest GSDML file which comes with the firmware. Good luck!

Shinchan Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi, INS. I disconnected the Controller from the IRT switch and update the firmware from menu "SAVE & LOAD HTTP" in web based management. But it seems disconnected the controller does not working for mirroring port . And still finding out the solution.

At least I guess you are Dutch or situated in The NEtherlands due to VanDerLande being the firm you work for. Otherwise we should need to wait till someone with the required knowledge gives you an answer. I don't have possibilty to check it the upcoming week,
