Autogen_Slong Posts: 30 Rating: (0)	Hi All, I need help solving a problem. I have a source project written in PCS7, V9.0 SP5. I need to make changes to one of the blocks in the program. Block (FB...) written using SCL Sourse file. The problem is that I cannot go online in the block in SCL. I also cannot load it into the controller. It compiles without errors. I have the original source project and I have done a full download of the project into the controller S7-410 5H. S7 Download->Entire program. With the controller transitioning to stop, and then back to run. Message when loading an SCL block: Diferent time stamps in online and offline blocks. Relaod block to programmable controller. Also, when opening any Charts block (CFC), the buttons in the Watch on and Watch off menus are not active. And also load compiled changes in the SCL block code from the SCL editor itself?? How to do it? Correct me if I'm wrong. At another facility with a PCS7 system, similar code with SCL blocks is used and they can be edited and loaded from SCL. This makes it possible to track the program online.

So after you changed a SCL source, compile the SCL source you need to do an update in CFC Step by step: Change and compile the SCL source in library Go to the block folder of the library in simatic manager and select the changed block Go to Options >> Charts >> Update Block Types Select the project charts to be updated (Library and project) In case of 410-5H, you have the posibility to do a block type update in run (make sure to have the check box checked up front Then perform a compile and donload of CFC in the user project. Now a correct update of the block should be performed and you should be able to go online C witch CFC and monitor the block. Please let us know if your problem is solved! Best Rergards, Cedric

I compile the SCL block source. 2. I go to any CFC Chart 3. In CFC Chart, select Options->Block Types. I am updating the block linked to the SCL (FB...) 3. In the CFC Chart on the left, in the Catalog, I simply drag my block (created by the CFC source) onto the free space. I already have a call to this block in the program, and I just happen to call it again. 4. I compile and upload changes to CFC Chart. (Changes only). 5. Now in SCL in the source file it is possible to go online (put on glasses). The mistakes are gone. 6. Back in CFC Chart, I delete the overdrawn block, compile again and load the changes. 7. SCL source, online access without errors. The problem is that I cannot go online in the block in SCL First problem solved 2. The second, currently pressing problem: Also, when opening any Charts block (CFC), the buttons in the Watch on and Watch off menus are not active. I can only go online using Test mode. The problem is that I cannot go online in the block in SCL. -Also for reference, in the project there are 2 Redundant PLCs, for each PLC in the CFC Charts user programs, it is not possible to click Watch on\Watch off. Only the "Test mode" button is active. -Full loading of the project in the controller position did not give any result. - Did start/stop of both controllers (Master and StandBy).
