LOGO! Support Posts: 399 Rating: (47)	WinCC Unified is not compatible with LOGO!. LOGO!CIM can be used as router for LOGO!. For storing LOGO! values I recommend using the Data Log function of LOGO!.

And I have videos on you tube that they select logo as the communication Modbus and they have used digital input so how did they manage to do it? or is there a 3rd party software that I can use?

LOGO! Support Posts: 399 Rating: (47)	As WinCC Unified is not released for LOGO!, I recommend using another solution. As nobody will try it here, I can’t totally exclude that something is working nevertheless. But as long it’s not named compatible the same may not working any more with next LOGO! or Unified version. Hint: Generally LOGO! 8.1 or newer supports Modbus TCP. As possible solution you can build a simply Scada system for LOGO! by using LWE (LOGO! Web Editor). The needed webserver is included in LOGO!8. You need only to activate it (menu Tools > Transfer > Access control). Or you use a SIMATIC PLC with WinCC Unified.
