We want to download the software from the PLC but keep getting the same error. We have tried both V16, V17, and V18, but they all give the same fault. We have connected the PLC in different ways, even with a UTP cable directly into the PLC. It does find the correct PLC because we can see it appear with the right model number and the correct IP address. Does anyone have an idea what could be going wrong? If its an very old S7-1200, the upload as a complete station software+hardware is not supported. This could be a possible cause of this message. regards sancruz
