Hi,

I would recommend to go the way with encoder and Servo control.

Using a synchronous motor in V/f control without encoder is not an easy thing. You have a Drive CLiQ motor so please set up the drive in Servo mode with p1300 = 21. Select a DQ motor (then it is read out automatically) and no motor ID needs to be done with this motor then.

Then try to run the motor and tell us if an error occurs or the drive still cannot be enabled.

Additionally please check whether Safety is activated at the drive and how the control of the safety functions is realized (PROFIsafe or terminal).

I had  the same thinking and went back with the servo mode in speed control (1300=21).

the motor selected in the configuration is already a DQ motor which is supposed to be identified automatically. however, I'm still not able to move the motor with control panel. I have tried the automatic controller setting and I got the error shown in the screenshot below. 

It's the same problem! and i couldn't find any further details to this information. what wrong?!

'm taking control priority from the PLC. 

I have checked all the wiring on the CU 310 dp. It has one input on terminal 7 of the X120 (EP terminals).

It is the Enable pulse signal. originally it was connected to 24 V through a safety relay. But I have directly connected it to 24V from X124 terminal. 

I don't see anything wrong yet. 

what other safety function are you talking about please???

I have checked the parameters of the safety functions (p9301 = p9501 = p9601 = p9801 =0) but I couldn't find P 10010

I had to set P1410.6 = 1 for Quick Magnetization = yes. 

This was after I successfully performed a motor circuit id / static tune and P346 magnetizing time was set as 2.96 seconds.  I was still getting the "Stop2 enable internal missing" until I set Quick Magnetization = 1.

I have no other G130 drive that has required this until now.

according to list manual STOP2 enable internal missing bit means:

I tested brake control seting and I've got to similar situation. Brake was keep closed and I wanted run the motor. No other fault or alarm, only STOP2 internal enable missing..

Maybe you have problem with brake control, which signalizing that brake is closed.

Dear All,

While starting Sinamics s120 I have following observations:

1. Before starting, if I check Missing enables under Diagnostics, it is seen 0 - OFF1 enable missing and 30 - Speed controller inhibited.

2. When I make OFF1 (p840[0] ON / OFF1) high (making level 1), it is seen under Missing enables 21- Stop2 enable internal missing and 30 - Speed controller inhibited. But it is felt that motor is powered but motor does not move. May be this state is for measuring motor data.

3. After several minutes, again it shows the message - 0 - OFF1 enable missing and 30 - Speed controller inhibited (though the off1 signal is still high) under Missing enables.

4. Then I have to make OFF1 to 0 and again 1 and motor starts to move.

5. But I have to come across above stages every time I switch off the drive.

Does anybody have such experiences? Please share with me. It would be of much help for me if any expert kindly give me some suggestions.
