I have a G120C that I'm trying to write data to set up my PZD read channel using P2051. I have set parameter P922 to 999 to set the Freely configured mode. P2079 is also set to 999. I can setup this parameter using startdrive without any problem. But when I try to write it using sinapara i get the message HEX 14 back as errorresult in the parameter. According to documentation I found this problems means that the value is impermissable. That I think means that Im not allowed to write to it. But i do not understand why?... Is there anyone that can suggest how to solve this. Why I cannot write to the P2051. I try to write to index 6,7,8,9 to extend the telegram as needed in the application. This application requires that this is done using sinapara automatically...Thanx... //Mattias Lindh

Yes I did look at this before i posted this... But my problem is that I can setup this parameter 2051 using the startdrive but not when using Sinapara. My drive is totally stopped and there is no command to it. So as I can see it I meet all the criteria that was discussed in that post. Also I set freely configurable mode in par922 and par2079. So I do not know why when trying to write using sinapara..

R2 in my cace is : [45] Switching on inhibited - rectify fault, acknowledge fault, STO 

so drive is stopped. The image shows the error message i get in the parameter structure (swErrorNo) for the parameters i try to write using sina para,

I did find out how this is coded and works. The format to write the parameter in Hex is:

16#[Parameter number in Hex]_FC[Parameter Index].  (If the parameter has indexes)
16#[Parameter number in Hex]_0000. (if the parameter has no index)

If to write to P2051 for example. I want to add parameter  2129 to PZD7-Transmit. 
2051 = CI: PROFIdrive PZD send word
2129 = CO/BO: Faults/alarms trigger signal

SinaPara:
siParaNo = 2051
siIndex = 6 (PZD7)
sdValue = 16#0851_0000        (2129 dec = 0851 hex) (this parameter has no index)

If to write P1006 to be in PZD8-Transmit i write this in sinapara:
1006 = CO: Fixed speed setpoint 6

siParaNo = 2051
siIndex = 7 (PZD8)
sdValue = 16#03EE_0000       (1006 dec = 03EE hex) (this parameter has no index)

If I want to setup parameter 1138 to be in the PZW receive word 2060. in PZD3+4.
(If the parameter is a DWord I use 2060 and if it  is a word I use 2050 to connect to the PZD data)
2060 = CO: PROFIdrive PZD receive double word.
1138 = CI: Ramp-function generator ramp-up time scaling.

SinaPara:
siParaNo = 1138 (
siIndex = 0
sdValue = 16#080C_FC02        (2060 dec = 080C hex) (Writing to index2 for PZD3+4)
