Currently we have replaced GE cup with Siemens S7 300-2DP.In ol system GE cpu was communicating with GE quick panel HMI.Now I do not want to replace this HMI as it is new one.

How can I establish communication on ethernet.

I have already installed CP module which supports ethernet protocol.

Which Ethernet based protocol do you wish to use? 
- Profinet
- Ethernet/TCP
- Ethernet/IP
- Modbus/TCP

According to Copilot (AI) on the Edge web browser, the panel can link with Profinet. But I could find no document that verified the AI's opinion. Also the panel model may play a role too.

Are you planning on modifying the GE QuickPanel's application code? If you have the software, you may be able to check if Profinet is available and the link to S7-300 PLCs should be selectable. You need to give information on how the GE/Fanuc side look like. Or sign in on their support portal and ask some questions there.

You did not mention which CP you are using. You will have to check if that CP can handle PUT/GET or also called S7-comunication. If the answer is yes - the CP will only need basic configuration like an IP address.

The GE QuickPanel is less sure what the configuration should be. In general terms you only need to tell it to use some protocol or specifically which PLC (S7-300). Then the tags should be configurable to absolute addresses I/Q/M/DB.

So.. what is specifically the roadblock for you?
