DesigoCC V5 - problem with script

MV_1984 Member Joined: 6/18/2022 Last visit: 9/11/2025 Posts: 15 Rating: (1)	Hello, I have made some scripts that sum values (bacnet points from logical view) and write the result of the sum into a virtual analog of Desigo. This virtual analog is under trend. I have seen that the sum result never changes. (bacnet points increase constantly, they are electrical energies) The only way to make the script work correctly is to open the graphics pages where I put the points (so the sum is right) Why? Are the scripts dependent on the points in graphics? Did I make a mistake in editing the script? [An example is attached.] Thanks Attachment Script.txt (270 Downloads)

Try to use the console(XX) for your variables: console(resa1a10) console(resa11a20) console(resa21a26) console(res) And the most important - your trend is logging res var, but did you have any reaction to execute the script every time ? Otherwise, you will always have a constant value because the script will only be executed once.

MV_1984 Member Joined: 6/18/2022 Last visit: 9/11/2025 Posts: 15 Rating: (1)	Hi Cris, yes, I checked in the console and when the script is running the sums are calculated (but not always with exact results) The scripts are started and stopped with workstation schedule and reaction once every hour. The script is left active for 10 minutes, then stopped until the next hour. I did some tests 01- If the script variables that make up the sum are not placed in any graphics page, the script reads zero. If the variables are in the graphics page, the script reads the values 02: in the graphics page I put the points that make up the sum, and the result virtual analogue (written by the script): the result is correct only when while the script is running, the graphics page with the points is open. It is as, if the script is dependent on the points in the graphics page....I do not understand

But try to do it in such a way that the script is executed once - only with a time interval - using a reaction, e.g. every 5 minutes for a test. Remove "while" and "sleep" from the script for this. I have attached an example. It works for me. And graphics shouldn't matter here. Attachment test.txt (274 Downloads)

This morning I downloaded the trend report and saw that after a few hours that I had made the change and closed desigo, the trend continued the entries flat (no increase, but the automatic reaction trigger that runs the scripts every hour is ok). So...I opened desigo...went to the pages where I put the points and launched the scripts. Only in this way was the sum result updated Now, I am trying it in my office (on my Desigo PC) so that I can investigate it well Really, I don't understand I don't understand if the scripts are dependent on the points in graphics, or that desigo is open/close If I can't solve it in a few days, I'll put a PXC that does the calculations

I set on the present value of the bacnet points that make up the script, the filter group every 15 minutes. In this way I saw that it works. The trend is not flat and the report is correct. Then I removed the filter group and let the scripts work for a few hours. Result? Flat trend and value that never changes With the filter group the scripts work correctly and the sum result is correct (either with desigo open or closed) See attached photo Attachment report.PNG (251 Downloads)
