cristian021091 Posts: 114 Rating: (13)	Ummm ...not sure, but I think you're going to need an AC800M controller too, otherwise I have my doubts that you can link your modules directly to your Siemens 410 controller. From my experience with ABB and with PCS7 I would believe that this module needs a library to work and this library is only inserted in your AC800M project either in 800xA system or Compact HMI 800 system. After you link your CI801 to the project, you should configure your AC800M and there declare your inputs and outputs and then create a routine from where you do the reading and writing of data... but as I say, I would think that this is the way. Tell me how it goes, I regularly work with both systems but I have never had the opportunity to do what you mention.

Previously i was done with allen bradley by using 315 plc. i think so we dont need abb controller or compact hmi.i will check and inform to you after completion my trials. please find the attached copy of allen bradley io configuration.
