Hello,

I have a couple of Sinamics S210 Servos Drives in a project and I am having trouble uploading from one of them into my TIA Portal project. One drive completes the upload successfully but the second gives an error :

1. An upload is not possible with the current Startdrive version.
2. The device contains components that have not been assigned to a drive object.
3. The creation of drive objects in the project has failed. Possible cause is the configuration of a Double Motor Module with only one configured axis in the drive unit.
4. Please configure the device offline in Startdrive and perform a download.,12/12/2020,12:26:20 PM

I have gone through the parameters and compared the two drives best I can and I cant see anything different. Both drives should be parameterized identically. Only the PN Name and IP should be different.

I have TIA Portal V16 Update 2 with StartDrive Advanced V16 Update 2

Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?

Is it possible to copy the parameters from one drive into the other to ensure they are the same?

I just know that Upload errors for S210 were solved in the new Startdrive V16 Update 5.

It states: "S210 - Improvement of Upload behavior" - so there was a bug fixing for known issues in uploading.

Did you ever get a result? I’m having the exact same issue using tia17 and start drive 17

 No, sorry. Never did solve it directly at the time. The project went to site without doing an upload back to the PG. However I have subsequently been to site to do mods and have successfully uploaded from both drives.

All i can think of is that I have had multiple updates to TIA Portal since the original problem.
