i have S7-300 CPU 315 2 DP which is connected to CU320 2DP (SINAMICS S120) via PROFIBUS in a existing installation 

i have downloaded the GSD files from the link :

i have installed the GSD file for the relevent version of my CU320 with sucess, but my problem i can't find the CU320 in HW catalog ?

i did not understand why ? please help

In GSD, devices with generic references appear (6SL3040-1xA00-0xxx or 6SL3040-xxA00-0xxx), therefore you must search for it from Device & networks > HW Catalog > Other field devices > PROFIBUS DP > Drives > SIEMENS AG > SINAMICS and use the generic reference of the corresponding firmware.

yes i really find it in the path you have montioned before , but when i try to upload the program from the S7-300 CPU i did not find GSD file of CU320 in Hw config
