I am using Project Type Library with FB and UDT originally generated from external source file.

How can I update it with new version?

When I Edit Type, the external source block generation returns with error, that test mode instance cannot be replaced.

If I am not in Edit Type, it replaces the blocks in the project, but it losses connection to Type Library.

Any solution?

Thank you for the link. Unfortunately, it does not answer my question.

I am not using Master Copies folder, but Types folder in order to easier update projects from the library whenever library changes. 

Some FB's and structure data types are generated from ODK 1500S, so I cannot simply edit type by TIA Portal window. I need to update it by generating blocks from external source file. This function does not allow me to modify FB even it is opened for type editing.

Any solution?
