Please your guidance for my ongoing project refer to TIA Portal V19 with CPU 1516-3pn/dp and TP900 comfort panel. During designing, everything was smooth. But now during implementation, I got stuck on this communication between TP900 and CPU1516-3pn/dp via profibus.

The reason why I use profibus instead of profinet, because this is modernization project. So we maintain the existing system and cabling. Only replace the necessary components.

Will share below network configuration screencapture for references.

Including have some issue with IF 1B after comppiling and mentioned "the operating mode of local interface does not support s7 connections"

All downloading to device was no issue. Once after downloading, then TP900 with the CPU PLC is not communicate at all.

Hope I can get some guidance here, since the project will starting soon.

Do you program an Alarm View in Comfort Panel?

When you select System messages, what are the messages you get?

Are the Date and Time of HMI and CPU in the same range? (Synchronised)

 Hi,

yes, I did the program for alarm view in comfort panel. will attach it in attachment, since there is no any alarm appear in alarm view, will share the alarm buffer.

(actually no any connection disconected inside alarm buffer/logs, as if I found during simulation which is no any PLC connected physically via profibus)

for the Date and Time, I put the HMI as a slave but not synchronized. many times tried, but still the same.

Could you also send a Screenshot of the HMI Connection in the HMI Project where we can see the connections and parameters?

It is very unusual that there is no 140000 or 140001 system message for the connection status at RT Start

It has been done with your suggestion, Sir. the time synch between PLC and HMI (manually, after updating the firmware). Many thanks for great guidance shared here.
