For test purpose, add a button to one screen and use the "SendEmail" function.

Add an "Alarm view" object to the screen and check everything.

It will help you see if your are connect or not to the SMTP server when pressing the button.

Please tell us more about your HMI device. Do you also use a WinCC Comfort Panel?

Please note that SendEMail is available for Comfort Panels, most Mobile Panels and Runtime Advanced. It is not available for Basic Panels, Basic Panels 2nd Generation. It is also not available for the new WinCC Unified Panels.
