PROFINET is not released for S7-400 H System at all, so you will not run PROFINET IO or CBA with it... at least as far as I know. 2. The only Ethernet communicationpossible here would be either the use of S7-Communication or the use of Send / Receive (T-Communication) between the S7-300 and the S7-400. This is both not being done in HW Config... Maybe you begin to read in the NCM S7 Manuals or in the manual for the Open Communication Wizard, depending which interface you use (CP or CPU). In my system I only use Wincc(OS) in PC to collect information form PLC and control them, no communication between the PLC, and I use lean manage switch made by phoenixcontact to comunicate (same with some Switch made by siemens ) and I don't know how to configure it by Step7. Please make it clearly for me , thanks so much....

I wonder, how do you plan on handling the S7-H System seen from the communication point of view. Do you plan to use a redundant S7 Connection with S7-Redconnect or do you plan on doing another connection type I don't think of at the moment. Best regards J_Bell
