Look for and try Snap7.  There are sample applications which you can configure to retrieve an entire DB - provided GET is allowed on the PLC (preferably without a password - and can be removed after commissioning).

NOTE: Snap7 works with unoptimized data.

Hi all.

I need to collect data for further analysis, contained at DB, but only during commissioning / testing to fingerprint machine behaviour. Specifically I have 4 arrays of 256 LReal + some additional word / INT / Real / DTL data-points.

All these data it is contained at one DB, and only need to be retrieved during engineering, not while machine it is in production, however we need to take many samples of it during machine tuning.

Already observed some links suggesting:

• Copy paste to excel - This does not work as only data visible on screen it is copied, not entire range of data I need to extract.
  
• Snapshot DB and export as source code - This works, but requires a lot of processing to place it into CSV or similar type of file to be analysed later on.
  
• Export it on a OPC-UA - I did not considered that option since currently I don't have any OPC-UA server running on engineering PC, and requires further engineering time right now.
  
• Use HMI to export CSV datalogs - I did not considered this option, as requirers further engineering, and takes time to retrieve data. Focus is to use engineering system.
• Process data engineering and data acquisition - LINK - Looks most reliable option, but requires CPU SD card data storage. Looks nice for data collection, but, not sure it is the best option to be used, as involves more components
• Had a look to "SIMATIC Project Insight" but does not seems to do what I need right now.
  

Is there any option at TIA V19 engineering software that allows to do such a kind of thing smoothly, so exporting certain watchtable / DB or similar object containing required data, to a CSV file, or appending it to existing file or some kind of database file directly to engineering PC, not involving anything else than TIA engineering environment? Or best alternative it is only the link attached upwards?
