Hi to everybody.

My TIA administrator has stopped working.

When I try to search for new updates it shows me the error:

"The configured update summary file is invalid."

It has been working before, but after updating it to the last version it does not work anymore...

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, but the problem persists...

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Anyone having the same problem?

I have seen similar cases where deleting the AWB folder has worked, so please try the following:

- Login with a user that has administrator rights

- Go into the directory C:\Users\All Users\Siemens\Automation\

- Create a backup of the folder "AWB" within a different directory, in case something does go wrong

- Delete "AWB" folder and its contents

- Start the TIA Administrator again, the deleted files will be generated newly => Test if the behavior still occurs.

Unfortunately it did not helped.

I manually downloaded the latest version of TIA Administrator from the Siemens Web page. Now it works fine!

I found the folder at C:\Siemens\TIA Admin\DownloadCache\simatic\tiaportal, so renamed it and worked fine.

I deleted it/ renamed it and it creates the folder again. But I keep getting the error. Worked yesterday and since I installed Tia V14 and tried updating it it now does not work anymore. I tried reinstalling, deleting V14 and reinstalling, using Administrator V2.0, V3.0 upd 5...

Don't know what to do anymore. Someone a suggestion what I can try?
