Dear Experts,

I have TIA V17 Update 6  , i am tried to import project from TIA Selection Tool but i got the error message : The module with the MLFB '6ES7 515-2AN03-0AB0' is not available in this TIA Portal installation. (as shown in the attached picture) . i installed update 6 and also i installed the following hardware support packages :

all the above hardware support packages were installed but the CPU : '6ES7 515-2AN03-0AB0' still doesnot appear .

Please can you help me how can i add the S7 1500 CPUs to TIA v17 ? .

Hi,

in V17 you have to use the product number of the predecessor 6ES7515-2AM02-0AB0.
But you can download this project also to the new CPU, because its backwards compatible.

MLFB 6ES7 515-2AN03-0AB0 can not be configured with V17 directly (only possible up from V18).

So, basically you load the hardware configuration program with the old CPU 1FK0x and th new 1FL03 will load it without errors or there is a specific procedure to do so?

 You just download it, it will give a message to you that there is a difference in the online/offline part number, but you can still download the it will function normally.
