Hi KBnickname49, What you describe, a black screen during the boot process before reaching the device control panel, looks like a corrupted operating system. If so, you would need to perform an OS update, which requires the panel to be in maintenance mode. You can try this with ProSave. If you run arp -a right after the ping command, you will find the device's MAC address in the output. However, ProSave may not be able to put the device into maintenance mode, and the "Maintenance" button is required. You may see an improvement after running a bootloader update. However, this cannot be done remotely. In general, I would recommend using the latest image version, even if it is higher than the TIA Portal version you are using. If the problem does not change after following these steps, you should contact Siemens for a deeper analysis of the problem. Kind regards |
