TIA V20: pass custom events from parent FP to child FP

Are local tags usable to pass info from parent to child FP? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from WinCC Unified – TIP’s for Faceplate.

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 9/12/2025 Posts: 16409 Rating: (1935)	Hello @Zam@ No Custom events in FP are not automatically inherited by the parent paceplate. for example if you have a custom FP event and you use this FP in a Faceplate container inside another faceplate you would have to create an own custom event and use the event of the child FP for calling the event script for the interface event of the parent FP. I tried it in V20 and this works: Bye Murof
