To link old files to a current project, follow these steps:

1. Close the software and any project.
2. Go to the old project and open theArchiveManagerfolder.
3. Copy the information from theTAGLoggingFastandTAGLoggingSlowfolders.
4. Paste the copied files into theCommonArchivingfolder of the new project.

I think its not that easy to just put them into the common archiving folder.

This way is for liking backup segments if used. But you have to care about deleteing them again after usage because every additional linked segment increses the performance load to the system.

also the segments has to be from the same project (same configuration and tag management...).

If it works -> OK thats perfect for you but you should delete the data again after you do not need it.

Its for WinCC V7/8 but works the same way in WinCC Professional.

If the new project is the same as the old one but only without databases then this way could be a better solution
