Hi All,

We have a strange situation with Simatic Logon licenses.
We have installed Simatic Logon 1.6 upd1 with 20 client licenses on a server.
Right now there are 10 clients connected.

Sometimes we get a pop-up on the TP1500 and IPC's  that there is no license for Simatic Logon available. Sometimes multiple messages in a row that there is no license available. When we try to login most of the times it works just fine.

There is a similar case but there is no answer.

are there licenses on the panels? In my opinion you need a license on each device and a license on the server for 3 or 10 devices.

Thank you for your reply. I've missed the notification on my topic.
I followed the Siemens guidelines regarding the licenses and even contacted Siemens about the licenses.
I've made a call with support. I will keep you posted.

Sorry forgot the post the answer.

Answer from Siemens Support:

Update ALM and Logon to latest version.
Logon 1.6 upd2 did have some stability issues fixed.
ALM 6.0 SP5 is not the most reliable.
Or downgrade ALM.

So we did update to Logon 1.6 upd3 and ALM 6.0 Sp8.

We are having the same issue with the licenses, see attachment.

We are working with ALM 6.0 + SP9 + Upd2 and Simatic Logon v1.6 + Upd5

Can someone help me with this?
