CM1242-5 GSD data exchange

Rafal S Joined: 11/27/2023 Last visit: 11/19/2025 Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have two S7-1200 CPU, both with CM1242-5. They are configured to send data like in the screenshot S1 in the attachment. In the different project, there is my S7-1214 CPU with CM1243-5. Now I would like to receive part of the data from these two slaves. So I should download GSD files for their CM 1242-5 and add to my project with my S7-1214, and then configure their I/O data like in the S2? Am I correct or it wont work? Is there any manual for configuration like this? Or maybe I cannot read data from these two slaves? Attachment S1.png (180 Downloads)
