Error during installation of Tia 19

Valter_pv Regular Member Joined: 10/18/2017 Last visit: 11/30/2025 Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	good morning, i am trying to install Tia portal 19 (DVD 1) in a virtual machine (with win 11 Vmware) where Tia 17 (update 5) and Tia 18 (update 3) are installed, i also tried the Repair procedure but without success, attached is the error message, do you have any suggestion? luckily before doing new software installations i always backUp the virtual machine, but after 1 day spent deleting and putting back software, i am a bit angry and it didn't happen to me since the change from Step 5 to Step 7 (many years ago). thanks Valter Attachment 2024-02-22_162620.jpg (588 Downloads)

Like the prior poster, I am not inclined to guess. However, I will ask what happened when the VM was restarted? Did TIA Portal show up as installed and/or updated? Sometimes it says it failed and yet it succeeded to around 99.9%, enough that it did not remove all the files used to attempt the install.
